Pink, a New Horror Franchise, to Film in Mothballed Shopping Malls

Sometimes, you never know what information you'll come across – or where you'll hear it, if you keep your ears out. Such as word that reaches Bleeding Cool of a currently planned horror film franchise for 2020 called Pink.

What the concept is, that I don't know. Nor who will be starring in it, who is directing it, or even which studio it will be coming out from.

But the title is intended to be ironic, based on the colour that is meant to appeal to girls and women, used here in a very horrific fashion, but definitely aimed at a female audience, with the intent to increase the female representation in production from the directors and producers down.

And for the franchise to be filmed in mothballed shopping malls across the USA. So, you know. Shopping. Ironic as well? It does take me straight to Dawn Of The Dead, of course.

Expect to hear… well, something about this planned film franchise in 2019. Including who is actually making it, who is in it and what on earth it's all about.
