WWE Smackdown Women's Champ Becky Lynch Wants to Fight Seth Rollins

Ric Flair, pro wrestling legend and father of WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair, used to say, "to be the man, you have to beat the man." After Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair at WWE Evolution in October in a Last Women Standing match to retain the Smackdown Women's Championship, she decided she'd earned that moniker for herself.

Lynch is set to face off against Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series later this month, an event for which she demands equal billing with the former judo and UFC champ and current Raw Women's Champion.

But it seems she's having trouble concentrating on that upcoming matchup, as she's become embroiled in a feud with… WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins?! Rollins started it by antagonizing the fan-favorite Lynch on Twitter and trying to steal her nickname.

To which Lynch responded:

Rollins laid out a challenge:

Which Lynch accepted:

Undoubtedly, Seth Rollins vs. Becky Lynch is a match fans would want to see. But WWE has traditionally frowned upon intergender wrestling, sticking mostly to mixed tag matches that restrict competition between men and men and women and women when both male and female superstars share the ring. But a feud between Rollins and Lynch, both extremely popular with WWE's fanbase, could be an opportunity to change things up. It would also be interesting to test Rollins' popularity against Lynch, who has been cheered even more vigorously by fans after an attempted heel turn for her feud with Charlotte Flair.

Would you pay to see a match between Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch? And who would you want to see win it?
