The Release Date for Frozen 2 Moves Up a Week

There’s a decent chance that some parents have finally got “Let It Go” out of there heads and now think they have a bit of a break before the next Frozen movie comes out. It turns out that they do have a break on the way but it just got a week shorter. According to Variety Frozen 2 has moved up from a November 27, 2019 release date to November 22, 2019.

The one-two-three punch of Tangled, Frozen, and Moana have helped bring back the concept of the Disney princess. Out of the three Frozen hit the hardest with a worldwide box office of $1.3 billion in 2014 and so much more in toys merchandise that it’s a little hard to wrap your head around. These characters were everywhere and Elsa was still a prominent costumes for children to dress up as this Halloween even four years later.

Much of the same cast is set to return for this sequel including Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna, Josh Gad as Olaf, and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff. As for new cast members Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown have joined in unknown roles. Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are also set to return.
