Comic Books Stolen From Rebel Base in Charlotte, North Carolina

Troy Hasbrouck of Rebel Base Comics & Toys in Charlotte, North Carolina has put out an appeal, Bleeding Cool is amplifying it. He writes;

Hey guys, keep a look out for some comics. One of the storage units I have in Charlotte got broken into Friday night. They got one load out with two carts but they must have gotten scared off because they just shoved the second load in the unit probably to come back and pick up later.

What you are looking for is about 20 short boxes and 12 Long Boxes of mixed stuff. Some good stuff for back stock, some shelf overstock. Some will be priced with my white square price stickers that simply say "Rebel Base Charlotte NC" There may even be some my store exclusives in the mix as well. Hard to tell what is gone and what has been left behind.

Also, whomever it was specifically targeted units with comic books. We assume they were able to look over the tops of the units and see what was inside from above.

There was a Heroes Aren't Hard to find customer that had his entire collection stolen. His stuff was 12 Long Boxes. All Marvel. All Bagged, not boarded. The boxes are labeled by month and year as to when he put them in storage so they would be dated 2014-2018. Also, they would be grouped into little mini lots per box.

If these books show up and come into your shop, Do what you feel is comfortable. Call 911 and stall and wait for your local Police to show up or just get contact info.

Just wanted to get the word out.

Here are some of those Rebel Base exclusives…
