Arrow Season 7, Episode 2 Preview: "The Longbow Hunters"

Arrow will air its second episode of season seven this week, "The Longbow Hunters". Comic fans will recognize that name of course, and judging from the first episode that could have many meanings. They got me in that premiere revealing Oliver's son William is on the island in a flash-forward. I am excited to see William and Roy doing their thing together, should make for interesting viewing. Back in the present, Oliver is taking a stand in prison (yay for more Cody Rhodes!), Felicity is looking to take down Ricardo, and there is someone running around in the Green Arrow costume. Anyone have any guesses who it is? I am going to go crazy and say that its Barry Allen and that leads us into the Elseworlds crossover. I know, I am wrong.

In order to track down Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) from inside prison, Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes that will require aligning with an old enemy. Meanwhile, in Star City, Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) attempts to root out Diaz are thwarted by Diggle (David Ramsey), whose allegiance to ARGUS now requires him to keep civilians like her on the outs. Realizing that she can no longer rely on her old team or old methods, a clear-eyed Felicity resolves to find a new way to go after Diaz.
Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Jill Blankenship & Rebecca Bellotto.

Arrow airs Monday nights at 8PM on The CW, and you can also stream it for free a little while after it airs on The CW app.
