Titans Season 1: New Poster and Character Promos

No one is really sure what to expect from the first season of Titans over at the DC Universe streaming service but they are taking the time to promote the show in the weeks leading up to the release. First we have a poster from SpoilerTV

Titans Season 1: New Poster and Character Promos

Next four different outlets that go character promos for each of our four main characters.

First from IGN we a promo asking us to Meet Robin and it explains why Dick Grayson felt like he had to leave. It also might give us some insight as to why Dick is acting the way he is in the promo material we've seen so far.

Next from Entertainment Weekly we get to see Beast Boy transform into mostly just a tiger for now. If they don't have him turn into a T-Rex at some point fans are probably going to be pretty bummed out.

Next over at Newsweek we a promo for Starfire which shows a bit more about her origin story and skirts around the whole "she might be an alien" issue. The purple jumpsuit we see is a lot closer to her comic outfit than the dress we've seen in a lot of the promotional shots.

Finally, we have TV Insider showing us a spot for Raven. It looks like Titans could be basing their story off of the birthmark plot line from the original animated show where Raven was predestined to destroy the world. That's a great plot and that season is one of the best but it wasn't the first season for a reason. It requires close relationships between the Titans and season one might be a bit too soon to tackle that.

Summary: A team of young superheroes led by Nightwing (formerly Batman's first Robin) form to combat evil and other perils.

Titans, created by Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, and Geoff Johns, stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Lindsey Gort, Alan Ritchson, Minka Kelly, and Ryan Potter.

It will release on the DC Universe streaming service beginning October 12th, 2018.
