The supporting cast of the live-action Mulan continues to fill out. According to Deadline, Jimmy Wong and Doua Moua have been cast as Ling and Po, respectively. In the animated feature that many people are familiar with, Ling and Po are two of the three main soldiers that Mulan meets while in the army. They’re also the ones who end up dressing as geishas to sneak into the palace near the end of the film. Wong took to Twitter to express his excitement and how long he’s been keeping this a secret.
Hi everyone. Back in December I found out I got the role of a lifetime, and 8 months later I can finally tell you all about it:
I’M GOING TO BE IN MULAN
I’m joined by some absolute legends as I reprise the role of LING from the original. I can’t wait :)https://t.co/G0ETQQSlSz

As production goes on we’ll learn more about this movie and how it’s going to be different from the Disney cartoon — but at this stage we do know it will differ in some major ways, and some fans aren’t taking it too well.
