There isn’t a lot of buzz surrounding the latest version of Robin Hood due out later this year. Lionsgate hasn’t really started promoting the movie just yet, probably waiting for the fall season to hit, though we do have a teaser and a trailer to go off of.
Thus far the reactions from people have been mixed, and the studio is going to have an uphill battle to fight if they want anyone to see their movie during the second busiest month of the year. They’ve released two short promos while Entertainment Weekly has shared a new image of star Taron Egerton.

There’s still time for Lionsgate to flip the narrative on this movie but, right now, it seems that it’s one of the movies people are already forgetting.
Summary: A war-hardened Crusader and his Moorish commander mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and a timeless romance.
Robin Hood, directed by Otto Bathurst, stars Taron Egerton, Jamie Dornan, Ben Mendelsohn, Jamie Foxx, and Eve Hewson. It will be released on November 21st.
