Overwatch's D.Va is Getting Her Bunny Blaster Turned Into a Nerf Gun

It looks like D.Va's Bunny Balster from Overwatch is going to get nerfed, but this time it's going to happen in a fun way with few complaints. Hasbro announced this week that they're making another Overwatch weapon into a nerf gun with the classic pink pistol being added to their catalog. This one is specifically a Nerf Rival Light Gun, which as you might have guessed from the name, makes it the Nerf equivalent of a Dillinger as it's a small gun that doesn't come with a ton of ammo loaded into it. But it makes it a fun weapon for close combat or quick shots when you need them.

Aside from the applications as a Nerf gun, this is about as good of a replica as you're going to see shy of Blizzard making one of their own. (Which we've seen from the Overwatch Payload Tour.) If you're planning to cosplay as D.Va down the road and want something cool looking that's also safe and will get through security at most conventions, this is the way to go. The Bunny blaster will be joining Reaper's Hellfire Shotgun and other Overwatch weapons yet to be announced when they're released in 2019.
