Bandai Namco Shows Off More of Digimon Survive During Livestream

During a livestream today from Tokyo, Bandai Namco decided to reveal a little bit more of Digimon Survive‘s story and gameplay. The show started off with a presentation from the game’s producers Kazumasa Habu and Katsuaki Tsuzuki, who introduced the game as a survival-simulation RPG and revealed the first trailer for the game, coming to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch in 2019. As you check out the initial trailer, you’ll see you’re getting a mix of old-school familiar creatures to the series, along with a batch of new monsters who will be making life just a little difficult for you in the virtual world.

After that, we got a presentation of the game showing us both aspects of Digimon Survive. This game comes with two modes that you will switch between throughout the game, which were simply called the “battle part” and the “drama part”. The Drama section will tell you about the story and have interactions, but it will also give you choices and options in order to survive and avoid battles. The Battle section is pretty self-explanatory as you’ll fight RPG turn-based style in order to beat the bosses around you. Enjoy the full stream below.
