Purge City Provides San Diego With All Their Purge Night Needs to Celebrate in Style!

Purge fans who were in San Diego this past week treated themselves by visiting Purge City. For sure one of the hottest offsite activations around SDCC, this was an opportunity to stock up on all the goods and memorabilia for your Purge Night needs, whether staying in or going out.

After being greeted by the friendly staff, you were handed 20 Purge dollars, good on anything in the store labeled for sale. And there was so much stuff! Shirts, hats, barb wire, greeting cards, energy drinks, buttons. My personal favorite was Purge Away. What is that you ask? Here is a video demonstration that will answer that very question!

After that demo, I had to get myself a Purge Away pen. I also snagged a few buttons, a energy drink (it was actually pretty good!), a couple greeting cards so I could celebrate with family, and a framable print of the 28th amendment, the one that of course made all of this possible in the first place.

Seriously though, if they do this again you have to go, even if you are not a fan of the franchise. The dedication of the people running the store was incredible. It was so much fun walking around and talking about the holiday plans for the big night and all of the various products in the store with the employees. They kept the items available at pretty low prices so even if you took home a shirt you could still get a couple other small things. There was music you would hear in a grocery store playing, when there wasn't a demo happening. They also had costumes and mask props from the films on display to see as well. The masks are more detailed than I would have thought.

Check out a ton of photos from Purge City below, and don't forget to watch the 10-episode Purge tv show on the USA Network when it debuts on September 4th.
