Marvel's Spider-Man Shows Off the Original Spidey Costume

It looks like Insomniac Games is going to be making Marvel's Spider-Man out to be a game for Spidey fans of all eras. In a new tweet on the PlayStation feed, the company showed off a new video that looks like a modern-day internet news report, with still-frames from the game. Included in those images is a look at the classic Spider-Man costume without the white accents, just as we've seen him for years in the comic books.

It's kind of surreal and a bit out of place considering how much we've seen of the current Peter Parker costume. But if anything, this is ripe for speculation that we're not just going to get some homages to previous Spider-Man outfits, but that we may just be going back in time to when Spidey caught some of the villains currently on The Raft. It would be really awesome to see that happen, but that's all speculation for now. We'll have to wait and see as Marvel's Spider-Man is released exclusively on the PS4 on September 7th.
