#CloneWarsSaved: Popular Star Wars Animated Series The Clone Wars Returns

Massive news coming out of the Star Wars Clone Wars panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Clone Wars is coming back!

Originally airing on Cartoon Network from 2008 to 2013, The Clone Wars' final season aired on Netflix in 2014, cut down before its time by the lightsaber of progress and replaced by Star Wars: Rebels. But hardcore fans of the franchise have been clamoring for its return, and today they finally their wish.

New episodes of The Clone Wars will air on the Disney Direct streaming service. New footage was shown to very grateful panel attendees. And yes, Ahsoka Tano is back as well.
