League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: The Tempest #1 Sells Out, Goes to Second Printing

You may be forgiven for not knowing that there was a new League of Extraordinary Gentlemen out this week – though Bleeding Cool did our best to tell you. But soon enough there weren't enough copies to go around.

If you missed out, do not fret, IDW/Top Shelf is going back to the printers for more of the US edition of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: The Tempest #1 by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill.

They ran out less than a day after it went on sale…

"We encourage fans to contact their favorite comic shop to see if they still have copies in stock," said IDW sales manager Joel Elad, "We'll be going back to press so retailers can get the second printing of issue #1 in stores by the release of issue #2 on September 12th."

The Tempest has attracted considerable interest not only as the grand finale of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen saga but also promoted as a swan song for Moore and O'Neill in comics, Though they do also seem to have Cinema Purgatorio tales to tell, ah, we'll believe it when we see it.

Retailers may reorder The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (Vol. IV): The Tempest #1 using order code JUN188003.
