Skybound Brings Die!Die!Die! Figures, Walking Dead, and More to SDCC

Skybond always has tons of great exclusives for collectors at SDCC, and this year will be no different. After today's surprise comic release, Die!Die!Die! also has surprise action figures coming. Redneck and Walking Dead get exclusive variant covers, Superfight gets a new deck, new Con Red Flags, and more. Let's dive in!

That's right–not only did Robert Kirkman surprise us all with the release of the new comic Die!Die!Die! this week, but SDCC will see the first figures from the series released! Brand new figures of characters Nate and Paul from Die!Die!Die! will be available at the con in regular and bloody variants, each pack for $60. I have to say, they really knocked these and this whole release out of the park. To have a comic AND figures done completely in secret this day is an incredible achievement. Here is what Rich Johnston had to say about the book itself:

It may be Die!Die!Die!, but this is a comic about doing so with as little fuss — actively avoiding the violence, though repeatedly failing. Less 100 Bullets as it is 100 Butterflies, flapping their wings and making real change. But also, let's be clear, it still represents a tyranny of pragmatism and fascistic take on the world. Judge Dredd with kid gloves, but still Judge Dredd for all that.

Comic variants for Redneck #13 by Geoff Shaw & Dee Cunniffe and a sweet gatefold Rick through the years for Walking Dead #181 by Charlie Adlard & Dave McCaigand will also be for sale. Those will run you $10.

Additionally, at the Superfight booth (#2707) new con-themed decks for Superfight and Red Flags will be available. The con decks will be exclusively sold at various cons through the year, the Superfight expansion for $15 and the Red Flags for $12. Skybound's latest kickstarter success Pitchstorm will also be available for demos at the Superfight booth, where there will be an option for attendees to make a late pledge to the campaign.

All of this is available next week at SDCC!
