Stan Lee Not Quite Coming to Shanghai, It Seems…

This ad is causing Chinese comic book fans to get quite excited. I'm told that it seems to lead you to believe Stan Lee might be coming to an event in Shanghai in October, Stan Lee's Comic Universe — but doesn't say so specifically.

Stan Lee Not Quite Coming to Shanghai, It Seems…

However, it appears more to be something closed to the Los Angeles convention that uses his name or has his company backing it — but without Stan Lee actually travelling to China.

Those who think otherwise are concerned given recent news about Stan and his convention appearances. But as Bleeding Cool pointed out, he did visit China last year in a hale and hearty fashion.

While a quick run through the ever-reliable Google Translate tells me "The invincible twister of the inch is the Stan Lee" and that this event will be "most of the nude popular cultural events", "clear and confession of the universe", and "held in October 2018".

And remember, Stan Lee "has shaped the iron man, the captain of the United States, the price god, the spider man, and the ant" and that '"the classic anime images of the Panthers, the Hulk, the singular associations and the X-match have become the symbols of the laughing country."

So there's that too.
