Teen Titans Go! to the Movies Gets 2 New TV Spots

The marketing for Teen Titans Go! to the Movies has been pretty on point. This isn’t quite as funny as some of the other stuff they’ve put out, but these two TV spots do contain a few new pieces of footage. We also get a chance to see the absolutely fantastic Batman joke.

Whether or not fans of the original cartoon are going to enjoy this remains to be seen, but this is looking like one of those movies that is focused almost entirely on kids. While movies like The Incredibles or even the Marvel Cinematic Universe might appeal to kids, they aren’t targeting them directly. This is a genre about costumed weirdos punching bad guys in the face; it’s time to give the young kids their version of that.

Summary: A villain’s maniacal plan for world domination sidetracks five teenage superheroes who dream of Hollywood stardom.

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, stars Scott Menville, Tara Strong, Khary Payton, Greg Cipes, Hynden Watch, Kristen Bell, and Will Arnett. It will be released on July 27th.
