It’s a well-established fact that pro wrestling legend Kevin Nash is one of the wokest wrestlers on all of Twitter, outspoken about LGBTQ issues and anti-racism, as well as his dislike of fellow WWE Hall-of-Famer Donald Trump, so it should come to no surprise that Big Daddy Cool wasn’t feeling the Fourth of July this year, with Trump in office and the soul of America itself in peril.
Nash took to Twitter to reveal that he chose not to celebrate the holiday this year, tweeting:
First time in my adult life I didn't celebrate the 4th of July. Feel we're a country that's never been more divided. Pray we can pull the nose up. Love your neighbor even if his stupid ass shoots illegal fireworks late in the night. I love this country lets make tomorrow better

Of all the pro wrestlers that could be elected president, why didn’t we end up with one like Kevin Nash rather than Donald Trump, is probably the question you’re asking yourself right now. Well, Nash didn’t run, though maybe he should. Glenn Jacobs, before he was known as WWE’s Kane, impersonated Nash as “Fake Diesel” after Nash and Scott Hall jumped ship to WCW during the Monday Night Wars. Kane, as we all know, has recently won his mayoral primary and is well on his way to becoming Mayor of Knox County Tennesee (and, if he and Daniel Bryan are victorious at Extreme Rules later this month, Smackdown Live Tag Team Champion). If “Fake Diesel” can become mayor, think what Big Sexy himself could achieve? Well, if he could avoid tearing his quad during a televised debate, that is.
Of course, Nash isn’t the only wrestling star to speak out against his former colleague. Even WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, who has donated millions to Trump’s campaign, seemingly subtweeted the President on July 4th when he called John Cena the quintessential American and posted a video of Cena advocating for the celebration of diversity, anathema to The Trumpster.
