PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Fixes a Map Exploit in New Patch

Have you ever been playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and managed to see someone vanish in front of your eyes on Sanhok? Ever since the map launched, there’s been an exploit in the game that has allowed players to vanish from sight, essentially becoming invisible, until they take out their weapon and fire on someone. Essentially the entire thing gave you a cloak of invisibility as long as all you were doing was walking and not getting shot at, giving you the ability to get the drop on someone from out of nowhere. Well, dear cheaters, that exploit is officially gone.

PUBG Corp. released a new patch for the game today, which you can read about the finer details here, which completely kills off the exploit. They also added some new details and features to the map, like making the ruins look more like ruins and rocks appear to be more like rocks and less like impenetrable objects you’d get stuck on. They also fixed an issue with crossbows… like anyone uses crossbows unless they’re desperate. But if you were looking for a way to cheat the system and gain some easy victories by acting like Snake, those chances are gone.
