Bethesda Sells Fallout 76's Version of "Country Roads" for Charity
Not since the passing of John Denver have I heard so many people sing his song "Take Me Home, Country Roads" since it was featured with Fallout 76 at E3. The moment Bethesda Softworks showed off that trailer, it was a no-brainer we'd be hearing more of that song. Hell, there were droves of people signing it in groups while I was roaming the halls of E3 this year. Well, if you'd like to own the cover, you can buy it right now and help serve a great cause in the process.
Back in June, Bethesda said they'd put up the cover up for sale starting on July 4th, costing you $1 for the song, with all of the proceeds going towards Habitat For Humanity. True to their word, you can buy the song today on iTunes. Sadly, we don't get to learn who the artist is as the song is credited to Copilot Music, most likely as a contract from a random artist who signed the rights away to their version of the cover for a fee. It actually is a lovely version of the song, that's well worth owning. And hey, you're helping some people in need while you wait for Fallout 76 to come out.
