There's certainly a party going on in those pants. And it's all a Superman reference, of course.

Superman lost his red trunks in a redesign in 2011, and since then it's all anyone has been able to talk about, whether or not he'd get them back. And in 2018's Action Comics #1000, after many campaigns, Superman got them back in style, and DC Comics gave away red trunks at shows — it was quite the occasion.

So no wonder Deadpool wants to play as well — after all, Superman's red shorts are a symbol of hope.
