David Lynch on Donald Trump: “He Could Go Down as One of the Greatest Presidents in History”

Donald Trump might not be very popular in most corners of Hollywood, but at least one high profile director is willing to say that he could be the greatest president in history. David Lynch was interviewed by The Guardian over the weekend, and, fueling clickbait articles on every entertainment website on the planet today, Lynch had some surprising things to say about President Trump. Lynch says he supported Bernie Sanders but ended up voting for Gary Johnson, but when it comes to Donald Trump, he believes Trump’s reign of terror might have a positive impact.

“He could go down as one of the greatest presidents in history because he has disrupted the thing so much. No one is able to counter this guy in an intelligent way,” said Lynch. “Our so-called leaders can’t take the country forward, can’t get anything done. Like children, they are. Trump has shown all this.”

According to Lynch, seeing just how nuts things can get with Trump in office could lead someone else to bring about positive change… that is, if we all survive. What do you think about Lynch’s thoughts? Let us know in the comments.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
