It’s Still Tough Being Captain Marvel, Post-Civil War II

It’s tough to be Captain Marvel. Oh sure, Carol Danvers is about to be played by Brie Larson in an upcoming movie. But when you’ve been through storylines two years ago such as Civil War II, people in the Marvel Universe are still going to bring her up on it, even though the writer has skipped over to DC Comics, where he can make everyone hate Jonathan Kent instead, or something.

You know, when Captain Marvel helped create a Minority Report-style justice system based on the predictions of an Inhuman who ended up going all cosmic, including the death (now reversed) of War Machine and the death (now reversed) of the Hulk, the Champions quitting the Avengers and putting Tony Stark in a coma in the final battle.

So whether she’s getting it in the neck from the left from Ms Marvel in today’s Champions #21.

And from the right with Tony Stark in Avengers #3…

Trust Thor to be the… man of peace? It’s come to this?

You know, folks, she has a movie on the way. I hope you can all get your ducks in a row and put on a fake front in time for that publicity to hit hard…
