Today in completely unexpected Marvel comics, the creative team of Dennis Hopeless and Djibril Morisette-Phan will be telling a new tale starring Seargent Fury and his Howling Commandos in Journey Into Mystery: The Birth of Krakoa #1, a 40-page one-shot revealed in Marvel’s September’s solicitations. The book takes readers back to the end of World War II (that was the one written by Bendis, right?) as the Howling Commandos take on “a  mission unlike any other they’ve ever tackled… and a menace that will haunt them forever.”

Is it worth five bucks to you? Even without Kid Loki?!

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
