While psychological-horror drama Castle Rock isn’t set to premiere until July 25, Hulu will unravel its mysteries a little early for attendees of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with a screening of the series’ premiere episode – and more. Combining a number of Stephen King’s works into a shared universe narrative based around the famed (and infamous) fictional town, Castle Rock‘s 10-episode first season stems from King, J.J. Abrams, Sam Shaw and  Dustin Thomason; and stars Andre Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Bill Skarsgard, Sissy Spacek, Jane Levy, Scott Glenn, Terry O’Quinn, Chosen Jacobs, Allison Tolman and Noel Fisher.

Deadline Hollywood reports (though Hulu has yet to comment) that there will be a screening of first episode ‘Severance’ as well as a panel with Spacek, Skarsgard, Lynskey and others; though Holland hasn’t been confirmed to attend. For now, King and Abrams will not be in attendance – but there is a chance that Abrams may appear via video. Offsite, Hulu is expected to host an immersive fan experience by the Hard Rock Café Hotel.

While a date, time and location have yet to be announced, San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 19-22.

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock is an original story that combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. Castle Rock stars Andre Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Bill Skarsgard, Jane Levy and Sissy Spacek.
