Dynamite Unveils Red Sonja Tarot Card Deck

Dynamite is doing another tarot card deck, this time with art from Red Sonja. I think this is a really nice way to give fans access to some of the most iconic images of the character in a unique medium. Plus tarot cards are fun to pull out at a party and read for friends. I have the previous deck they did based on Vampirella and if you read my one review of that deck, you'd know my one complaint was the cards were a bit thin. I've been told that the Red Sonja deck will be done on a thicker stock.

And the project has already funded by quite a bit, pulling in well over three times the initial goal with three days to go. Here is the original information and link to back the project if you're interested.

Dynamite Entertainment announces the launch of their latest Kickstarter campaign, Red Sonja Tarot. After the success of the company's Vampirella Tarot Cards last year, they have returned to give the same treatment to Dynamite's other "red hot" femme fatale, Red Sonja!

Hot on the heels of her 45thth anniversary, this deck features artwork by industry heavyweights Joe Jusko, Gabriel Del'Otto, Arthur Suydam, Jenny Frison, and many more. The complete deck of Red Sonja Tarot Cards comes packaged in a full color box and will be available for an extremely limited time on Kickstarter for a discounted pre-order price of just $15.

Other items supporters can receive through the campaign include a deeply discounted Graphic Novel bundle and an "artist proof" edition Red Sonja statue designed by Amanda Conner.
