Meet Travis Knight, Director of 'Bumblebee', in New Featurette

Paramount Pictures has released a new featurette for their upcoming Transformers spinoff film Bumblebee introducing director Travis Knight.

Knight previously was part of the stop-motion animation company Laika that brought Oscar-nominated film Kubo and the Two Strings to life before he joined the Paramount franchise. Travis says he approaches filmmaking as storytelling — as sharing stories.

The new featurette talks about Travis Knight's approach to the Bumblebee film, which at present already has tremendous positive buzz after the footage shown at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

Bumblebee, starring Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena, is set in the 1980s and has a Christmas 2018 release date.
