First Look at Trover Saves the World from Rick and Morty Co-Creator Justin Roiland at E3
It looks like Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland is jumping into the world of video games some more. In a trailer shown at the PlayStation Showcase at E3 2018 a short trailer for a game called Trover Saves the World was shown. It seems to have all the hallmarks of a Justin Roiland production, with the same type of humor we expect to see on Rick and Morty.
It looks like it could be a very self-aware puzzle platformer, which is always fun.

Wonderful. Your dogs have been dognapped by a beaked lunatic who stuffed them into his eye holes and is using their life essence to destroy the universe. Does that make any sense? You've partnered with Trover, a little purple eye hole monster to save them. Find power babies and plug them into his eye holes so that he can absorb their power, track down Glorkon, and save your dogs (and the Universe).
The best part is that in this single player game, you play both halves of this duo. That's right, you control yourself and Trover in a crazy mix of first and third person action. Does that sound complicated? I assure you, once you check out this here game, it won't be, and you'll totally get it. Because it's awesome.
Travel bizarre alien planets, find powerbabies, earn upgrades, and meet crazy characters along your journey. Imagine if you could play the longest episode of Rick and Morty, ever. That's kind of what this is.
There is currently no release date for Trover Saves the World, but it will be exclusive to PS4 and PSVR.
