Epic Games Openly Warns Players About Free Fortnite V-Bucks Scams

If you're one of the many people playing Fortnite and you're saying to yourself "Gee, I wish I had more V-Bucks to buy all the cosmetic gear that does me no good in the game," Epic Games would like to warn you about trying to find the easy way to a payday. The developers made this Twitter post over the weekend letting fans know that they should do everything in their power to stay away from scams trying to bilk them out of info or worse just to get free V-Bucks.

Honestly, if you're a gamer in this day and age and you're not aware of the idea that people are trying to take advantage of you, you might wanna put the controller down or push away from the desk for a moment and do some research. This is the way the world is now. There is no such thing as free; there will always be people trying to scam or you get something out of you. Please, don't believe the V-Bucks hype — go earn them in Fortnite like we're all meant to.
