David Ziggy Greene, Signing & Talking for Scene & Heard at Orbital Comics Tomorrow

Tomorrow sees Private Eye cartoonist David Ziggy Greene appearing at Orbital Comics in London alongside his new collection of work, Scene & Heard: Times Like These, signing on Saturday, 26th May, from 5-7pm, followed by a free after-hours talk.

For six years David Ziggy Greene has travelled the country asking questions and sketching scenes of modern life for Private Eye. His detailed, funny, astute works of graphic reportage – at protests and festivals, cycle rides, farms and prisons – expose the realities behind political turmoil. The human cost of policy and the profound local impact of legislation.

This new collection of columns from 2014 also contains selected early pieces from 2011 and much brand new work and behind the scenes material. I reviewed the book right here.

If you are in town, for MCM of otherwise, pop by Orbital to meet the man, pick up a copy and listen to all he has to say. Here's a sneek peek at the gallery instore….
