2000AD Publisher Relaunches Classic British Comics as the Rebellion-Verse

Posted by May 24, 2018 Comment

A little while ago, Rebellion – the publisher of 2000AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine – acquired the rights and backstock to a host of comic book properties previously published by IPC in the UK. They had, at various stages, been absorbed into a number of companies, including Fleetway, eventually ending up part of Time Warner, but Rebellion were able to extract them. They have published a number of reprint titles, with new works planned for Roy Of The Rovers, but this is the big one.

A new title, a one-shot, to relaunch a new Rebellion-verse of interconnected storylines featuring the biggest names in British comics, if you are British and somewhere in your forties, fifties or sixties right now. Which I am.

Welcome, one and all to The Vigilant.
