Overwatch Releases an Infographic to Celebrate 2nd Anniversary

The Overwatch team is pulling out all the stops to show off their latest array of goodies for the game's second anniversary, which includes a brand-new infographic showing off all the stats up to now. In a new post, the developers shared the graphic below with this message:

"With our anniversary celebration in full swing, we wanted to share a few of the fun milestones that Overwatch crossed in its second year. Obviously, these numbers don't tell the entire story, but with an ever-expanding community, new heroes, new maps, and thousands of new in-game items, Overwatch looks much different than it did two years ago."

It's a pretty cool look at how far the game has come over the past two years and the audience it's cultivated. This doesn't even cover all the esports events, public outreach, and the community at a deeper level. This is the kind of thing where we suspect there's more on the way, because highlighting stats like this for games means there's going to be a bigger announcement on the horizon — but it's really hard to tell if that's the case.
