Splatoon 2's Second Soundtrack Will Be Released in July

If you've been grooving on those sweet Splatoon 2 tunes, then we got good news for you. The next soundtrack for the game is on the way, and it's currently set to be released on July 18th. The entire album is performed by the group Off The Hook and is going to feature music that will come with the next expansion to the game being released in June. You're also going to be getting some bonus content as you'll receive a Blu-ray featuring The Squid Girls and Off the Hook performing live at Games Party Japan 2018. The news of this dropped yesterday on the Splatoon Japan Twitter account.

Since we don't really know what kind of music will be in the Octo Expansion beyond the trailer we were shown a few months ago, there's no way to predict whether or not this is going to be that good. But considering the quality of the last release and the way this band works, it's probably a sure thing that fans will enjoy it. If you're looking to purchase the soundtrack, you can do so through Play-Asia on a pre-order, which will run you $47 before shipping.
