Gorogoa is Coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Next Week

The award winning hand-crafted puzzle game developed by Jason Roberts of Buried Signal games, Gorogoa, will be launching on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 22nd. The game is currently available on the App Store, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and GOG, so this final console release will mean it is available on almost every gaming platform. Android devices are the only ones left out at the moment.

PlayStation owners who want to pick up the game can pre–order it for a 20% discount on the PlayStation Store. The pre-order price is $11.99 USD, while the full game will retail for $14.99 USD.

In addition to the console launch, new content will be coming to the game. The original 2012 demo for Gorogoa will be added to the PC, Switch, and iOS versions on May 22nd. This will give players access to a new intricate puzzle level.

Gorogoa has been well received since its initial launch, which included taking home the "Debut Game" award at the 2018 BAFTA Games Awards. The game is an evolution on the longstanding puzzle genre, with a story told in snatches of meticulously detailed hand-drawn illustrations that players arrange and combine in imaginative ways to solve the game's puzzles.

Gorogoa has been highly regarded since launch, recently winning "Debut Game" at the 2018 BAFTA Games Awards.
