Titan Comics to Publish "All-New" Lisbeth Salander in The Girl Who Danced with Death in August

Titan Comics will introduce readers for the first time to a new story following its series of graphic novels based on Stieg Larsson's Millennium series. The comic, called The Girl Who Danced with Death, is billed as an "all-new" story, but that's true only for English readers, as the comic was originally published in French in 2016.

Writer Sylvain Runberg and artist Belen Ortega are the creative team for the book, in which THR reports "Salander's friend Trinity is kidnaped, leading her to recruit Mikael Blomkvist to investigate what happened, and discover the secret of a group known only as Sparta."

The story in The Girl Who Danced With Death is not connected to the prose sequels written by David Lagercratz. The first issue hits stores on August 15th from Titan's Hard Case Crime imprint. Check out the variant cover by Ortega and some preview pages below:

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
