Teaser Trailer For Queen Biopic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Hits, Chills

At long last, the first teaser trailer for 20th Century FOX's biopic film Bohemian Rhapsody about the legendary rock band Queen is here, and holy crap, it's pretty great.

Teaser Trailer For Queen Biopic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Hits, Chills

Not that I was doubting the film's possibility to be incredible, but the issues the production faced with original project director Bryan Singer left me dubious.  With Singer's firing from the picture, Dexter Fletcher was brought on to complete the already-in-production film.  Needless to say, the road for this film has been long and hard fought for- originally it was going to be a Sacha Baron Cohen project, and he'd be playing Queen's frontman Freddie Mercury.

That one of course didn't end up working out, as Queen guitarist Brian May nixed it (he's who holds the primary rights to pretty much everything).  After two other leading men were attached (and eventually replaced), the production finally brought Rami Maleck on board as Freddie.

Ben Hardy is playing Roger Taylor Queen's drummer, Gwilym Lee plays Brian May, and Joseph Mazzello plays John Deacon bass guitarist of Queen. Lucy Boynton will be playing Mary Austin, Mercury's lifelong companion.

Ok, so, here's the teaser, play it as loud as you can, and tell me you don't get chills:

Bohemian Rhapsody is set for a November 2nd 2018 US release date.
