Portal Knights Now Has a Free Demo in the Nintendo eShop

If you haven’t had a chance to try out Portal Knights on the Nintendo Switch, you’ll probably be excited to hear that you can download a free demo of the game from the eShop today.

As a kind of teaser to get people the game before the next big update comes to the console, Keen Games and 505 Games have released a playable demo for Switch owners to try out. This is essentially a tidbit of the primary game along with some of the content from the “Adventure Update” that will be coming out soon. Check out the trailer for the preview below, along with a description of the game for those of you who haven’t tried it yet.

Leave the familiar world behind and step into the fantastic unknown with Portal Knights, a cooperative 3D sandbox action-RPG! Level up your character and craft powerful gear to defeat your enemies in real-time tactical combat. Explore dozens of randomly-generated islands and restore peace to a world torn apart by The Fracture.
