Chewie Takes His Rightful Place – Solo: A Star Wars Story Clip

Happy Star Wars Day! Lucasfilm is here to provide a new clip top Solo: A Star Wars Story. We don't actually get that much from this clip, however. Han and company are trying to escape, and he tells Qi'Ra that they need to move all power to the rear deflector shields. She hesitates, but Chewie immediately jumps in and we find out how old he is. Qi'Ra moves out of the co-pilots seat and Chewie takes his rightful place. The music swells a bit in a way that we're being told this a A Moment, and we can hope the entire movie isn't just callbacks like that.

Summary: During an adventure into a dark criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his future copilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion.

Solo: A Star Wars Story, directed by Ron Howard, stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, and Thandie Newton. It will be released May 25th.
