Here’s the full letter from Feige.
To the greatest fans,
The past ten years have been an unforgettable ride and we couldn’t have done it without the entire team at Marvel Studios, our incredible talent in front of and behind the camera, the visionary comic book creators, but importantly you.
Thank you for embracing these characters and stories since we kicked off the MCU ten years ago. This past weekend was a result beyond our wildest dreams.
On behalf of everyone here at Marvel Studios, we thank you for being the best fans in the universe and for making Avengers: Infinity War the biggest opening weekend of all time.
Avengers: Infinity War is well on its way to being one of the biggest movies of the year, but in a packed summer whether or not it has legs at the box office has yet to be seen. We’ll have to see how it fares in the next few weeks or so.
Summary: As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
