Fortnite Plans to Fix the Weapons Swap Equip Issue With Next Update

Yesterday we got a new video from the Epic Games team regarding some issues and changes coming with the next update to Fortnite, including the most recent service interruption as well as the issues people have been complaining about when it comes to weapon swapping. The developers posted the video on Twitter hosted by Zack Estep, which you can watch below and get the full details from in a quick two minutes.

There's no denying that the animations that come with equipment changes are a pain in the head, literally, as we often find ourselves being sniped or killed switching to a weapon when we need to reload. You could probably make a three-hour long clip of YouTube and Twitch players who have taken second place in a round from that action alone. It's also interesting that the devs are apparently going to talk openly about the service interruption, even though it's already been reported on several sites and YouTube news feeds that a hacker was responsible for the entire thing after they took credit. It'll be interesting to see if they address what they did and if they can now prevent it.
