New Era and Lids Announce 59FIFTY Blackout Collection

Lids and New Era have announced a new collection, dropping in Lids stores next Friday, April 13th. The Blackout Collection will feature, well, all black. The team logo, the stitching, tags — everything will be black. There will be both NBA and MLB teams available, and the 59Fifty hats will feature a new blacked-out 59Fifty sticker. This is the first time New Era has ever changed their sticker for a release. You can even get an oversized version of the new sticker with purchase.

New Era and Lids Announce 59FIFTY Blackout Collection

Don't be alarmed, but a Blackout is coming! Mark your calendars because everything at LIDS is about to go black, and the star of the show is the all-new LIDS exclusive New Era 59FIFTY Blackout Collection. This is the ultimate stealth look; a cap that is black on black…on black. New Era has murdered out every part of this hat, including this sick blacked-out 59FIFTY sticker.

Stitching and fabric of the hat? Blacked Out.

Hat tags? Blacked out.

Team logo? Blacked out.

This hat cannot be found anywhere else, so you'll want to grab it while you can.  Not only that, it's also the first time New Era has changed the color of their iconic 59FIFTY sticker, so hat collectors and enthusiasts take note! Black on black is the new, well, black, which means this cap will pair perfectly with your kicks and gear all season long.

The Blackout begins in April on Friday the 13th, so discover the entire New Era 59fifty Blackout Collection in both MLB and NBA styles in-store and online at Lids.com.  As an added bonus, you'll receive an amazing and exclusive oversized Blackout 59FIFTY Sticker when you purchase a Blackout cap at participating LIDS stores beginning on 4/13 (offer only valid with in-store purchases, while supplies last, see store for details).

Heres the Blackout 59Fifty Sticker reveal.
