Brian Michael Bendis is leaving Marvel Comics for Superman. So he is putting a few toys back in their boxes. Possibly with new batteries and some modifications, but for other folk to play with.
From the preview tomorrow’s The Invincible Iron Man #598, that might include fixing SHIELD. Which was Hydrafied and disbanded after Secret Empire, a crossover in which he pointedly did not participate in…
Because while everyone goes looking for Tony Stark, and Captain America does his best impersonation of Basil Exposition…
Riri Williams is being visited by Blade. You know how some folk are out of sorts that Black Panther is credited as the first of a certain type of film, when Blade did it decades ago? Well, we get a bit of a repeat…
Blade is involved with a SHIELD replacement. And that got me thinking, You know that well-sourced rumour we had that Bendis had suggested a new superhero ID for Miles Morales rather than Spider-Man and SPY-D was one of the options? It did suggest a more espionagey future for Morales, especially as his dad used to be in SHIELD too.
Oh and there’s Doom to deal with as well…
And for that matter, The Hood… he has been popping up all over the place of late in a most inconsistent manner.
Time to discover the real man under the Hood?
It kicks off tomorrow.
