Nix Comics Offers Subscription for All Your 2018 Rock N’ Roll, Horror, and Western Comic Needs

Nix Comics has taken to Kickstarter to offer a subscription model for some or all of the comics they plan to publish in 2018. Harkening back to the days of yore, when you waited anxiously by the mailbox for the latest issue of X-Men to arrive battered and bruised by the fine letter-carriers of the U.S. Postal service, Nix is offering readers the chance to pre-order everything Nix puts out this year and have it shipped directly to their homes (though the merchandise should arrive in much better condition).

Nix Comics Quaterly #10

Founder Ken Eppstein, who says the comics Nix publishes are inspired by “years of love for punk rock bands, record store and b-movies,” is offering two subscription packages: basic and deluxe. The $25 basic subscription comes with seven printed comics and zines, while the deluxe version also comes with two records and an art and poetry collection.

From the Kickstarter page:

Basic subscribers will receive 7 printed comic books and zines: Nix Comics Quarterly. Nix Western Comics, Jenny Mae & Jerry Wick, Buck Slaughter’s Book of Rock N Roll Facts, the Collected Pander Bear, Tales From The Crate and Return of Belligerent Kitties. US Subscribers will receive their books in May, July and September. International subscribers will receive their complete subscription in September.

De-Luxe subscribers will receive 7 printed comic books and zines: Nix Comics Quarterly. Nix Western Comics, Jenny Mae & Jerry Wick (comic and record set), Buck Slaughter’s Book of Rock N Roll Facts, the Collected Pander Bear (comic and record set), Tales From The Crate and Return of Belligerent Kitties and the 120 page art and poetry collection, Beauty Found in Darkness. US Subscribers will receive their books in May, July and September. International subscribers will receive their complete subscription in September.

Of course, you can also order individual comics from the Kickstarter. Nix isn’t unreasonable!

Check out the Kickstarter to see all the options and order yours today. Nix is looking to raise $8000 by April 15th.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
