We told you last week that DC Comics was republishing the original Sandman collections in a new format for the 30th anniversary of the series, and we had details for the new editions of Preludes and Nocturnes and A Doll’s House. We said we expected the rest to follow in a timely manner. And now we have more for the next two.

The Sandman Vol. 3: Dream Country 30th Anniversary Edition
Neil Gaiman, Kelley Jones
On Sale Date: 18 December 2018
$19.99  160 pages

The third installment of Neil Gaiman’s seminal series, THE SANDMAN VOL. 3: DREAM COUNTRY, celebrates its 30th anniversary with all all-new edition!

The third book of the Sandman collection is a series of four short comic book stories. In each of these otherwise unrelated stories, Morpheus serves only as a minor character. Here we meet the mother of Morpheus’s son, find out what cats dream about, and discover the true origin behind Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night Dream. The latter won a World Fantasy Award for best short story, the first time a comic book was given that honor.

Collects THE SANDMAN #17-20.

The Sandman Vol. 4: Season of Mists 30th Anniversary New Edition
Neil Gaiman, Kelley Jones On Sale Date: 29 January 2019
$19.99  160 pages

The fourth installment of Neil Gaiman’s seminal series, THE SANDMAN VOL. 4: SEASON OF MISTS, celebrates its 30th anniversary with all all-new edition!

Ten thousand years ago, Morpheus condemned a woman who loved him to Hell. Now the other members of his immortal family, The Endless, have convinced the Dream King that this was an injustice. To make it right, Morpheus must return to Hell to rescue his banished love—and Hell’s ruler, the fallen angel Lucifer, has already sworn to destroy him.

Collects THE SANDMAN #21-28.

More to come, of course — 10 books plus the various spinoffs. Should get done before 2020, don’t you think?
