Cliff Chiang's Cover to Gideon Falls #2, as Image Makes the Comic Returnable

Gideon Falls #1, the new supernatural series, by Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino is one of those Image launch comics that is doing fine in the aftermarket, a critical and commercial success, and selling for twice its cover price on eBay.

One of the methods Image Comics regularly employs is a reveal of a variant cover closer to Final Order Cut-Off date, and the Bleeding Cool Advance Reorders charts are often full of such initiatives as retailers find it in themselves to up their numbers on the comic in question just enough to make the difference.

And so it is with Gideon Falls #2, out on April 11th.

All order of this comic by FOC date will also be returnable, so retailers can order in confidence in the knowledge if they don't sell, they can be returned to the publisher.

The combination of both will all but ensure the comic's appearance on next week's Advance Reorders…
