Thomas Lennon has been cast as the lead and title character in Fox’s single-camera comedy pilot, Dan the Weatherman. The project comes from The Life & Times Of Tim creator Steve Dildarian, 20th Century Fox TV and Tomorrow studios. He recently came off of starring opposite of Matthew Perry in CBS’ Odd Couple reboot, can currently be seen in Netflix’s A Futile and Stupid Gesture, movies Half Magic with Heather Graham and Clint Eastwood’s 15:57 to Paris. Upcoming he will be in Puppetmaster: The Littlest Reich, Dallas & Robo and Dog Days. He provides voices for American Dad and is said to be in another pilot called Swipe Right.

He is also set to write and produce Action #1 about a group of comic geeks trying to steal the most valuable comic from Nicolas Cage. And he pops up occasionally on Another Period and Drunk History.
