Watch: The Handmaid's Tale Season 2 Teaser Trailer from Hulu

It's International Women's Day, and streaming service Hulu decided that meant it was the perfect time to release a teaser for season 2 of The Handmaid's Tale.

It's short, as a teaser usually is, but not without all kinds of imagery that'll make viewers concerned for Offred:

The award-winning series is based on Margaret Atwood's groundbreaking story about a post-war patriarchal society where fertile women are a commodity, and only the rich are allowed to reproduce with the possession of a Handmaid.

The majority of the cast is back for s2 including series star Elisabeth Moss, Alexis Bledel, and Samira Wiley as well as Amanda BrugelMax MinghellaO-T FagbenleJoseph Fiennes and Yvonne Strahovski are set to return.

New faces for this season (that we know about) include Cherry Jones in a "pivotal role", Marisa Tomei, and Bradley Whitford, who has worked with Moss previously on The West Wing.

There is also this piece of key art for The Handmaid's Tale, and boy is it full of meaning:

Back in January, the first trailer for season 2 was released, so we at least have some idea of the bleak upcoming return to Gilead.

The Handmaid's Tale is set to return for season 2 on April 25th on Hulu.
