DC Comics has released the five-page story by Tom King, Clay Mann, Jordie Bellaire, and John Workman, Of Tomorrow, from the upcoming Action Comics #1000, out on April 18th.

They describe it as “a poignant and touching story about Superman’s final conversation and tribute to the loving Kansas couple that rescued him and raised him as their own so many years ago.”

The $7.99 anthology issue will also feature new stories Dan Jurgens, Peter J. Tomasi, Pat Gleason, Marv Wolfman, and Brian Michael Bendis.

It can also be read on the DC Comics Reader here.

Good to know that billions of years into the future, he’s still wearing the trunks.
