Bandai Namco Will Announce a New Record of Grancrest War Game On Monday

A fun piece of news from Bandai Namco over the weekend as the company announced that they will be holding a formal reveal stream on Monday, March 5th, to show off a new Record of Grancreat War game that's on the way. The stream will be broadcast live on YouTube at 8PM JST, which for us in North America will be 6AM EST and 3AM PST, and 11AM in the UK. The full compliment of guests will include voice actors Kentarou Kumagai (Theo Cornaro), Akari Kito (Siluca Meletes), and Natsumi Takamori (Priscilla Farnese); as well as Bandai Namco presenters Yosuke Futami, Hiroyuki Iba, and Yurika Tsukida.

Bandai Namco Will Announce a New Record of Grancrest War Game On Monday

The fact that a game has been in the works has been going around for months, but bringing in the voice actors from the anime series is basically the icing on the cake that they'll probably be releasing a game in the same style of other anime-related titles by having the two connect in familiar ways for the audience. What the game will be about is something we'll have to wait to see for the stream, but chances are you're looking at an RPG model with a heavy focus on cutscenes and adventure, given the nature of the series.
