Avengers: Infinity War Release Date Moved Up to April 27th
Well this is surprising. It looks like we're all getting Avengers: Infinity War a little earlier than we originally thought. In a Twitter exchange with the official Marvel Studios account, Robert Downey Jr. petitioned the studio to release the movie a week earlier.
Other sources, including The Hollywood Reporter, are confirming that the movie will release a week earlier now. Does this mean Disney has something big planned for Star Wars Day now that Avengers: Infinity War isn't dropping on May the 4th? Is this them giving Untitled Deadpool Sequel a bit of an easier time at the box office now that it is competing with the third week of Infinity War instead of the second? There are rumors that Comcast has backed off the deal for 20th Century Fox — are the studios playing nice? Who knows and who cares — we get Infinity War a week early.

It will be released on April 27th.
